Rule #1 - All participants are welcome ... fast, slow, runner, walker, old and young.
Rule #2 - White shirt dress code at the official start line and ready to roll.
Rule #3 - Completely colored Willy Wonka goodness at the finish.
Location: Qualcomm Stadium ( 2 loops)
How does it work? I think this video explains it all.
This was my 7 year old daughter's first 5k. She was very excited about the event. We even had matching running outfits.

We arrived at 8:15am to beat the traffic. It was easy to park. We walked around and took some pictures before heading to the starting line where thousands of people were wearing white tops, per official rules.
The white scenery was about to be changed.

As for my daughter, she truly enjoyed running this race. She's already asked me to sign her up for another 5K. I think we have a runner in the family!
